James’ FGC

James’ FGC

James asked me to build him a travel gravel bike to match his fit requirements, to fit in a checkable case and to have the ability to fit fenders and carry stuff! The resulting build fits 35mm tires with fenders, or 40mm without. The Rodeo Labs Spork fork has mounts for the Tubus front rack, and I supplied Ortlieb panniers to fit.

A 1x eTap AXS groupset takes care of shifting without the need for a front derailleur. Enve 3.4AR rims set up tubeless easily and are nice and wide for the large volume tires, spinning on Chris King hubs.

The final build is under 19lbs stripped down, or 21lbs with rack and fenders installed. The paint is by Colorworks.
