Custom wheels

I have been building wheels for over 30 years, and bring this experience and my engineering background to build tight, durable wheels to match the rider and their intended riding. From
superlight road race wheels to expedition mountain bike wheels, I am happy to discuss any requirements.

For spokes I generally use DT Competition double-butted for standard builds, and Sapim Cx-ray for race/lightweight wheels. Both of these are available in black or silver. I can also build with the Berd Dyneema spokes for the lightest option.

Please contact me for a quote; I like to build with US-made product when possible, with rim options from Enve, Forge&Bond, Astral and Boyd amongst the many available. Equally many great domestic hub options including Chris King, White Industries, Industry 9 and Project 321, plus lightweight European choices from the likes of CarbonTi and Extralite. Pretty much any rims and hubs available upon request.
