Racing news! Between one thing and another I really didn’t race much this spring – and didn’t have the form to do well anyway. But I have been training hard the last few weeks, and using some of the local events as part of that. And it has been a lot of fun – especially finally getting to ride as a team with my new-this-season EC teammate Lee.

Today was the first edition of a criterium in downtown Eugene, and despite riding a TT yesterday, I had a good race – I was in a two then three man break for several laps early on, then in the winning five man break to the end. My jump with a lap to go didn’t quite work out, so I ended up with fourth, but was happy as I managed to pick up a lot of primes along the way!
