Ken’s road bike

Ken’s road bike

Ken is relatively new to cycling, so when he contacted me about a custom build I suggested he find a good local fitter to work with him on his position, and then to set up his current bike to match so that he could test it out for a few months. That done, I had a set of numbers to work with to design and build his custom machine. The frame features an oversize headtube for the Enve tapered fork, which allowed me room to have the internal gear cables enter through the headtube, keeping the cabling nice and tidy. The rear brake is through the toptube to match. Finishing kit is a full SRAM Force 22 groupset complimented with Chris King headset, BB and hubs, which are laced to Velocity A23 rims – shod with tubeless Hutchinson Intensive 25mm tires. The FSA stem is painted to match and a Thomson seatpost continues the silver theme. Paint is by Colorworks and once again thanks to Tina Buescher for the photos.
