Ben’s V3 road

Ben contacted me last year, interested in a TT bike – which he also just received. But when we met at NAHBS in March he was very taken with my carbon seattube road bike, so he decided to have his own version built whilst I was at it. His frame is broadly similar to my personal build – True Temper S3 aero downtube (now sadly discontinued – I have a few left…), toptube and chainstays. 3/8″ wishbone seatstays, custom externally butted headtube (no carbon insert on this one) and Enve custom carbon integrated seatmast – with an adjustable cap rather than the fixed head on my bike. The specification is a nice mix of function and lightweight, from the SRAM Red/Quarq powercrank to the Ciamillo brakeset and Lightweight wheels. Total weight complete as shown is 13.7lbs, with a frame weight of 1234g.
