What has two rear hubs, a belt drive, lots of extra braze-ons and fits in an airline checkable case? That’ll be the next project, a bike for the Great Divide for Scott of Black Rainbow bags. I built the wheels earlier this week, and today I got the custom fork brazed up – 135 spacing and clearance for both 29×2.4 and 26×4.0.  The other achievement this week that I am very excited about is finally getting the new mill fully setup – it felt a bit odd to be taking a drill to a brand new machine (in order to install the DRO), but all done and what an improvement! Very easy to accurately mitre the fork blades and quickly swap over to machining the pre-brazed parts.  And onto the frame tomorrow….
