6 February 2011
Back two weeks now and been busy getting back to it in the shop! Fortunately the Oregon weather has been very kind to us; pretty much no rain (!!), and even some sun and warm days, so not as much as a shock after the New Zealand summer as expected.
In the works I have a special Di2 bike which will go on show at Fairwheel bikes new showroom in Portland – Het Fairwheel Podium – next month. I don’t want to give much away, but it will have some features I haven’t seen on any other Di2 bikes yet…. The other project is a super small, light and aero bike headed to Singapore; some unusual design on this one too, still some details to be worked out as I go!
Coming up in April I will have a couple of bikes on show at the 2011 PDX Bicycle Show. One will be my Belt Drive 29er on the OBCA stand, and the second will be a still-to-be-completed special on the NuVinci stand – this bike will feature their very cool continuously variable internally geared hub, and be of a style I haven’t built before; but something I’m having a lot of fun with… more details to follow. In the meantime here are a few pictures from the current two in process:
