Sadly I don’t get to meet too many of my customers in person, so it is a treat when they come to collect their bike, as Ryan and Amy did today with their tandem. We did the final adjustments before I joined them on a 15 mile test ride, where they were very happy with their first custom bicycle. We forgot to put it on the scale to confirm the sub 30lb weight before I walked them through the disassembly and packing process – it is a travel tandem, and packs quite easily into two checkable cases. In this manner it will be heading back to New Zealand with them in a couple of weeks.
