Just back from the grand opening of Het Fairwheel Podium in Portland, and the first showing of my latest build – a Custom Di2 race bike. It was a good night; I got to talk about brazing wtih cyclocross pro Ryan Trebon, 29ers with photographer David Haines, crazy German carbon stuff with Jason (aka ‘madcow’) from Fairwheel bikes, various techy stuff with James Huang from Cyclingnews.com and plenty more with plenty of others! I’m really pleased with the Di2 bike, it all came together in a pretty slick package. Now I’ve got ideas of building one for myself, if only the parts weren’t so expensive!

Next up is to get the NuVinci show bike finished, then there are a couple more road bikes and an 11spd 29er next in line….
