Happy New Year! I actually took three days off right at the end of 2012 – no working in the shop and no riding – which I really needed as it has all been very busy! But very much back to it this week, with NAHBS coming up very quickly. I will be showing Sean’s disc brake FRC travel bike, which is now pretty much done. I am building a few folding road bikes coming up, so after machining the seatstay pivots myself on the prototype, I had a batch CNC’d this time. To get around the disc caliper, I had to move the pivot up from it’s usual spot right on top of the dropout. This one is off to paint on Monday, then I need to try and get my new TT bike all finished up next week too.
