One frame done for NAHBS (a couple of sneak peaks here; I’m going to save the full unveil for the show), the second is almost ready for paint. So, onto the next project! This one will actually also be shown at NAHBS, it is a custom build in collarboration with Fairwheel Bikes in Tucson. It is a fairly unique design, and requires a custom rear hub – today I produced a lot of aluminium swarf in turning a piece of 2.5″ diameter 6061 into the rough shape. The axle section is complete, now I need to turn it around and finish machining the flanges.
