More progress on the RIGHT project – today I machined the front axle and got the fork (that can’t be right with one leg, that’s only half a fork. So maybe this is just a tine? Or a strut. Or something) mostly put together. I should get the hub back from being anodised in the next day or two, then it shouldn’t be too far off a test assembly.

  1. Very interesting Rob! The one sided forks always freak me out as there seems to be tons of load generated near the bottom of the steer tube. Can one fillet braised joint handle that stress, and will it flex under hard cornering? I can’t wait to see this one completed! It reminds me of the lotus bike and various other Mike Burrows designs, but with your flair, attention to detail, and minimalism.
