Tim’s road bike

Tim’s road bike features an integrated seatmast, which uses a tube that was custom externally butted to tune for saddle compliance and weight. An adjustable cap secures the saddle.

Built up with 30mm tires on the Enve/Chris King wheelset, the frame and Whisky fork will clear a 35 too. There is internal routing for the rear brake hose through the downtube and the Shimano Di2 wires through the seattube and chainstay.

A taper-ovalised toptube pairs with the round downtube to provide the right amount of frame stiffness. Beautiful paint by Colorworks including the matching FSA stem.

I’ve gotten in two rides so far, and I’m truly delighted with the bike. It fits perfectly — feels like it disappears beneath me — and handles beautifully. It’s stable but nimble. There’s a downhill S-curve in Central Park that I use as a reference, and I was easily able to take the tightest line. And it feels very fast uphill. Great work. Thank you.
