Sean’s road bike

Sean visited last year for a fitting and to discuss his build, then returned this year to not only collect his bike but to ride it in the Oregon Gran Fondo.
The frame features a custom butted and ovalised integrated seatmast with matching cap, an aero downtube and carbon headtube insert. There is plenty of clearance for 28mm tires in the frame and Columbus fork.
The build was completed with as many US made parts as possible. The headset, hubs and cranks are from White Industries. Rims from Astral Cycling right here in town. Skewers from Paul. Brakes from EE/Cane Creek. Stem parts and dropouts from Paragon Machine Works. Pedals from Speedplay. Titanium bottle cages from King Cage.
Sean had Busyman Bicycles produce the custom covered saddle, matching bartape and seatbag. A bike that is a different color from each side is always fun – Colorworks did a great job of producing the green/silver/purple design. The final weight complete as shown with pedals and seatbag is 18.0lbs.
