Ryan’s Endurance/Gravel bike
Ryan was thinking about a mile-eating bike along the lines of my TransAm build, but with a bit of added capability for gravel too. It took a little while to figure out the best option for the cockpit – Ryan settled on the Black Inc integrated bar/stem, that has slots for quick and easy mounting of the aerobar extensions when they are needed. This is paired with the Enve headset and fork for fully internal brake hose routing.
The bike is shown in endurance mode, with the aerobars and 35mm tires. But there is then clearance for 50mm tires for gravel riding.
The frame features internally brazed bosses for the custom Kaibab framebags, and a UDH dropout for the SRAM XPLR 1x drivetrain.
Paint selected for visibility, beautifully applied by Colorworks. Final weight as shown is 20.2lbs.
