Matt’s road disc

Matt’s road disc

Finally, eTap HRD has arrived! Matt’s frame was actually built at the end of last year, since the groupsets were originally promised for January. But continued production delays kept pushing the delivery date back…. until now, and I could finally put it all together.

The bike is based around Enve’s 4.5AR wheels, which are 25mm wide on the inside, giving the 28mm Schwalbe Pro One tubeless tires a fitted width of 30.5mm. The new Enve road disc fork accommodates this easily, and has been updated with a flat mount for the caliper and internal hose routing. A Chris King headset connects the tapered fork to the frame, which features a Columbus aero downtube, custom ovalised toptube, and s-bend stays to give clearance for the larger tires. Matt also opted for a T47 BB shell, which allows room for the rear brake hose to run internally right up to the caliper. A SRAM Red Quarq powercrank and Enve finishing kit complete the build.

The paint scheme is by Colorworks, and the complete bike weighs in at 17.5lbs.

Bike is awesome.  Only have a couple hundred miles on it, but it is perfect.  The fit is perfect and the ride is very balanced and stable.  Definitely worth the wait.
