Mansoor’s lightweight road bike
It is kind of fun to do the full weight-weenie builds now and then :- Sure, the fit and ride characteristics are more important than the weight, but when you can have those things AND make it really light – well, everyone loves a light bike!
The frame uses the very lightest Life tubes from Columbus, along with custom seatstays and a carbon headtube insert. All carefully fillet brazed together. There is full internal routing for the Di2 shifting, plus the rear brake cable runs internally in the toptube.
There is an Enve fork up front, and a Shimano Dura-ace Di2 drivetrain then we get to the US/German/British carbon exotica! Lightning crank, Fibrelyte chainrings, Schmolke bar and seatpost, McFk stem, Ciamilo brakes, Tune bottle cages
The final weight as shown is 12.9lbs. British Racing Green paint by Colorworks.
