John’s road bike

John asked for a modern road bike, and decided on the integrated seatmast, a polished stainless steel rear end, and fully hidden hoses via Enve’s In-Route system.

The seatmast tube is custom externally butted to tune for weight and flex-characteristics, with an adjustable cap for fine-tuning saddle height. The toptube is taper ovalised and there is an aero downtube.

Chris King provided the hubs, headset and bottom bracket in their two-tone black/gold finish, with the gold being matched in the paint, which was expertly applied by Colorworks. The hubs are laced to Enve SES 4.5 rims, shod with 30mm tires. A SRAM Red AXS groupset completes the build, augmented with a derailleur cage from Absolute Black.

The final weight as shown with pedals is 19.4lbs.
