Jodee’s road bike

Jodee’s road bike

Jodee asked for an all-around road bike – to be used for racing in the summer, training in the winter and everything inbetween. Being a fellow PNW rider, fenders are mandatory, so we used a Whisky fork which includes the needed mounts.

The frame has a tapered headtube, an ovalised toptube and custom curved seatstays. Enve rims are laced to Chris King hubs, with a full SRAM Force AXS group completing the build.

Beautiful paint by Colorworks, and the bike weighs in at 19.2lbs including the fenders.

I am almost 200 miles in, through rain and gritty roads and sun and flats and hills and one puncture … and am overjoyed with this bike. I talked it up a lot in advance of actually having it on hand, and it has not disappointed! I’m breaking PRs without trying – in my totally off-season after a sad bike year. I really had no idea how much I would love it. I get a little giddy every time I think about it.
You achieved everything I wanted: light, fast, but ready to ride all year round here in the Pacific Northwest. The frame design is really elegant. I even love the electronic shifting. I left most of the actual component decisions to you and everything is awesome.
I can’t thank you enough, and am especially grateful to have my new bike in hand in time for the holiday break.
It was a real pleasure to work with you. No drama, no ego, just care.
