Jae’s gravel frameset
Jae’s frame is designed to fit either 700×28 or 650×42, which have outside diameters close enough to preserve the handling in either setup. There is room for a 2x crank, with a T47 bottom bracket allowing for the rear brake hose to run inside the frame from the headtube to the chainstay.
The integrated seatmast was custom machined with external butting to tune the ride and keep the weight low. A custom adjustable cap allows for setting the saddle height. The mast also features a third bottle cage mount tucked above the rear tire.
Up front is a carbon fork from No.6 Composites, which plugs into a tapered headtube via a Chris King headset, with a custom steel stem completing the front end.
Jae worked with Bicycle Crumbs for the paint design, which was expertly applied by Colorworks, including painting the Silca framepump and the handlebars to match.
