Han’s Aeroish Road
Han used the ‘aeroish’ term when describing what he wanted me to build for him – in recognition that his position may not be pro-racer, but wanting the best tool for flat, windy riding.
The frame has a custom butted and ovalised seatmast, with matching cap for saddle adjustment. This is offset slightly towards the rear of the bottom bracket, to allow for the wheel cutout to better shield the rear wheel. The toptube is custom ovalised, with internal routing for the rear brake cable.
Up front the 3T fork has narrow aero blades, paired with the TriRig brake to keep the frontal area small. Vision provided the aero road bars, which have discrete bosses for simple attachment of aero extensions. The SRAM Red AXS groupset provides a wide range of gears and a power meter without any wires or cables.
The beautiful paint is by Colorworks and the final weight is just under 17lbs.
