Eugene’s road bike
Eugene asked me to build him a light and sporty disc brake road bike. He settled on running a 1x drivetrain, which we achieved by pairing Campagnolo 12spd shifters with a rear derailleur, cassette and crankset from Italian company Ingrid. The left shifter was gutted to remove the shifting parts and just leave the hydraulic brake lever.
The frame features an aero downtube and custom ovalised toptube along with slightly dropped seatstays.
There is clearance for 32mm tires (shown with 28mm here), with Enve Foundation rims laced to Chris King hubs. Ritchey provided the one-piece bar/stem and the seatpost.
Custom paint is by Colorworks and the final weight as shown is 18.3lbs.
