English Cycles Aero Wheels

Enve’s new 6.7 aero rims build into a very fast, versatile wheelset. For a little more speed, these are built with the English Aero front hub – this has narrow flanges for a reduced frontal area, and airfoil sections to smooth airflow over the exposed axle. With the deep rim, the bracing angle of the spokes is similar to a regular width hub with a shallow rim, so the wheel maintains lateral stiffness, making these wheels suitable for road racing as well as time trials and triathlons. Enve spent a lot of time with the rim profiles to make the wheels not only fast, but very stable, so the deep section (60mm front, 70mm rear) tubular wheels can be ridden in any wind conditions. Spokes are Sapim CX-rays for a light build; the wheelset weighs 1435g. Custom powder coated spokes are available upon request. In stock now at $2600.
