Bo’s gravel bike
Bo asked for a build similar to my ‘best road bike’ pink bike. But he liked the screaming bright colors of Simon’s FGC, so here is the result!
The frame features a round, custom butted ISP, with a curve for additional tire clearance. There is a modified Thomson seatpost at the top to allow for minor saddle height adjustment via an internal wedge. The rear thru axle dropouts use the Syntace X12 system, with a custom machined flat mount for the rear caliper. The front fork is an Enve GRD, slotted into the headtube which has a carbon insert.
A third bottle cage mount is on the back of the ISP, with all three Enve cages painted to match, as were the FSA crank and handlebar/stem. SRAM eTap keeps things tidy with no cables, and braking is taken care of by TRP Sypre calipers.
The super bright paint was expertly applied by Colorworks, and photos by Tina Buescher. The final weight as shown is 18.0lbs. And of course, a custom painted Silca floor pump to match :-
