Alex’s all-road bike

Alex came to visit for a fitting and to plan out his build. Once we got the fit sorted out I could design a bike that was going to match his needs. And then we could deep dive into the parts spec!
The frame and Whisky fork will clear 38mm gravel tires, or the bike can be setup for all-weather road with the 34mm tires and Portland Design Works fenders as shown. We opted to not fully integrate the brake hoses to allow for ease of adjusting the stem position as required. But the rear hose does run internally through the frame and T47 BB shell to the rear caliper.
The components have a titanium theme: a 5Dev crank with Sturdy chainring, Silca bottle cages, Thomson seatpost and Fairwheel headset. These are paired with a SRAM 1x13spd XPLR groupset, and custom built wheels with Enve G23 rims laced to Industry 9 hubs.
Paint is by Colorworks and the weight comes in at 19.5lbs with the fenders.
