Adam’s Gravel/travel

Adam’s Gravel/travel

This could be the most versatile road bike I’ve built yet – Alfine 11spd Di2 with R785 hydraulic disc brakes/levers, allowing for shifting the hub from either hand. A Gates belt drive for silky smooth transmission. Clearance for 28C tubeless tires with fenders – in this case Schwalbe Ones on NoTubes Grail rims. Paragon Machine Works Rocker adjustable dropouts, so a derailleur could be added in the future if required (there is an exit hole for a Di2 front derailleur too). And the FRC folding system so the whole bike can pack for travel.

Eric at Colorworks applied the custom paintwork, which has pink ribbons in recognition of Adam’s wife’s battle with breast cancer. The rear end is all custom formed, with a one-piece seatstay unit and custom shaped chainstays. A matching custom stem with a Paragon faceplate and an Enve road disc fork (modified by Devin at L’Ecu to have fender mounts) complete the build.
